He holds a Law degree from the University of Chile (1987), an LL.M. from the University of Würzburg, Germany (1992), and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Göttingen, Germany (1995).
He has extensive experience advising on local and cross-border investment projects in the energy, construction and engineering, trade and logistics, real estate, and financial industries, among others, as well as in the public sector. He has participated in numerous local and international financing and corporate restructuring transactions.
Alejandro leads the German Desk at Álvarez Abogados and has broad experience advising German clients in Chile. He also served as President of the Chilean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMCHAL) from 2008 to 2010.
He is also a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.
