María Teresa is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1997) and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Universidad de Los Andes (2006). She also completed a Diploma in Construction Law at the Universidad de Los Andes (1999) and a course in Accounting and Finance at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2024).

Throughout her professional career, she has focused primarily on private practice, specializing in civil, corporate, and real estate law, as well as advising family estates and non-profit organizations.

María Teresa served as Counsel in the Construction & Real Estate area at the law firm DLA Piper Chile, leading projects related to renewable energy, M&A, and financing structures. She also actively contributed to strengthening corporate governance and providing pro bono legal advice. Previously, she worked as an in-house lawyer for family offices such as Igneous and Alemana Salud and as an associate attorney at other prestigious Chilean law firms, with a strong focus on tax reorganization, corporate processes, and due diligence.
