Guillermo has over 30 years of experience in tax matters and has focused his practice on all types of fiscal issues, with a particular emphasis on transactional tax. He has extensive experience in major local and cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, tax restructurings, and tax matters related to the financial and insurance sectors, advising renowned clients on their tax affairs—from day-to-day matters to their most complex needs.

He is recognized in the Tax category by the prestigious publications Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500.

Guillermo holds a Law degree from the University of Chile (1995) and an LL.M. in Tax Planning from the University of Santiago (1999).

He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
